Greetings 1st Grade Parents☺ This is my last Newsletter for this academic year. “Thank you” to you parents for giving me all the help, support and understanding though out the year. In an effort to try to bring some normalcy to their day, I have created a SUMMER PACKET for HOLIDAYS. Packet contains Math and Language assignments. The goal is to finish everything in it, however, I am very aware it may be hard for you, as it will take your time and effort to help them complete it. I am also aware that some work sheets may be difficult to read, understand the concept, or simply how to explain like I do in the class. In that case you can either leave that assignment or give your best shot! Stay safe and enjoy the holidays! Thank you once again for helping me through this year.

I hope and pray that you, our “1st Above the Rest” kiddos, and the rest of the family are well! These are challenging days for our munchkins, to say the least. The students may have so many questions. “Thank you” to you parents for giving them the patience they need right now. In an effort to try to bring some normalcy to their day, I have been creating assignments packets. Packet contains Math and Language assignments. Everything is ordered by day for the week. As always, no homework on Friday! The goal is to finish everything in it, however, I am very aware it may be hard for you, as it will take your time and effort to help them complete it. I am also aware that some work sheets may be difficult to read, understand the concept, or simply how to explain like I do in the class. In that case you can either leave that assignment or give your best shot!

Everyday. To get fluency in reading correctly up to 125 + words in one minute.

Read more stories for fun and enjoy them. 

Write a story of 5-10 sentences.
 Remember how to start and end the sentences.

Make sure you write correct spelling. 

Fnish by drawing and coloring a picture of the story
